in the beginning was the word.
and the word was genesis 1:29.
i didn’t start here because it was trendy. i started here because i was tired. tired of feeling like my body was working against me. tired of the noise. tired of spending money on things that made someone else rich and left me exactly where i started.
i’m jordan. yoga teacher. trainer. nutritionist. builder. i wake up at 4am. i sit on the floor to work. that’s the whole office. i sleep on the same floor too. 75 items of clothing. by choice. i run. i fast. i eat fruit. i self-host my own server and write my own code and film my own content and handle my own books.
i am one person doing the work of many. not because i have to. because i believe the way you build something is part of what you’re building.
and what i’m building is this.
diaita is an ancient greek word. it doesn’t mean diet. it means the whole way of living. food, movement, rest, environment, time. how you inhabit your life completely.
that’s what this is.
not a program. not a supplement. not a 30-day reset you forget by february. a return. to the body’s original design. to food that doesn’t need a label. to a relationship with yourself that isn’t mediated by a product.
genesis 1:29 says every seed-bearing plant and fruit tree is given to us for food. that’s not a suggestion. that’s the blueprint.
the body already knows this. it just needs you to stop getting in the way.
i’ve run 30 half marathons in 30 days in minimalist sandals. i’ve run 30km every day for 15 days straight. i’ve fasted. i’ve cleansed. i’ve rebuilt.
everything i teach i’ve lived first. that’s the only credential that matters here.
this site is the record of that. the protocols. the philosophy. the proof.
no gatekeeping. no upsell disguised as wisdom. just what works, laid out plainly, for anyone willing to show up.
one more thing. this site runs on no big tech.
no shopify. no mailchimp. no substack. no google. self-hosted on a linux server i manage itself. open source tools all the way down. the email list, the payments, the files, the calendar. all of it mine. all of it sovereign.
because dependency is dependency. food or tech.
if i’m going to teach sovereignty i have to live it in every direction.
if you’re here you probably already know something is off. in your body. in how you eat. in how you move through the world.
that feeling is information. don’t ignore it.
this is a slow walk home.
welcome to diaita.
